We were founded in 1786 for those excluded from universities by religious tests. Now, almost 250 years later, as Oxford's only college dedicated to mature students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, we continue to break down barriers to education. We exist to ensure that everyone – whatever their age – has the opportunity to fulfil their potential at one of the world’s top universities.
