James Fletcher

James is Director of Development at Harris Manchester College, leading its fundraising and alumni engagement. He and the Development Office team work with alumni and friends to advance the College’s priorities through philanthropy, and the giving of their time and expertise.

He joined Harris Manchester in September 2026 after holding development roles at two other Oxford colleges from 2014.

Beyond HMC, he is a trustee of two corporate foundations – serving as Chair of the KFC Youth Foundation and of the Finance and Risk Committee of the John Lewis Partnership Foundation.

James welcomes conversations with those seeking to contribute more actively to the College’s life and long-term future.
