Book celebrating Royal Charter 30 years anniversary released

Harris Manchester College is delighted to announce the release of a new publication that celebrates the 30th anniversary of the College receiving its Royal Charter to become a full collegiate member of the University of Oxford. Earlier this year, we also marked the occasion with a commemorative event attended by the Chancellors of both Oxford and Cambridge.

Entitled Building On Our Past, Shaping Our Future the book tells the story of Harris Manchester over the past three decades through a series of photos and descriptions of significant events and people. Over the next few months we will be featuring an abridged selection of these stories on our website.

Our Principal, Professor Beth Breeze OBE, commented: "I hope that alumni, current students, staff, fellows and supporters will enjoy seeing their memories within its pages, and will feel inspired to help us become an ever-stronger, ever-happier college in the years and decades ahead."

The book can be shipped worldwide, and is available to order on our gift website.
